Philippe Kirschen

Optimization Engineer

Philippe specializes in developing tools that use convex optimization for the design and analysis of complex systems. He previously worked at Virgin Hyperloop, where he led the development of the company’s system optimization tool. Prior to this, he was a graduate student researcher in MIT AeroAstro’s Convex Engineering Group. He has a B.S.E., Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan and an M.S., Aeronautics from MIT.
