Ishira Fernando

Machine Learning Engineer

Ishira joined Gridmatic from Stanford University, where he completed his B.S. (Honors) in Physics and M.S. degree in computer science. He interned at the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory where he authored a senior-thesis on Dark Matter detector efficiency. He has also conducted research with the Stanford Neural Prosthetics Lab and volunteers with the Cornell Lab of Ornithology applying Machine Learning to conservation.
